At Ashlea Court Care Home, our approach to care is simple – we focus on providing the highest standards of person centred care, 24 hours a day.

Our team and facilities are well equipped to ensure we can continue to provide care should needs change during a resident’s time with us.

RESIDENTIAL

We are here to support individuals who may find it difficult to manage and look after themselves in their own home. We want to enhance general well-being and encourage an active mind and body. We offer a comfortable and safe environment for elderly individuals, who can enjoy and take full advantage of group living, knowing all meals, cleaning, and daily tasks are taken care of – and someone is always nearby for a chat or to lend a hand as needed.

NURSING

We provide 24-hour nursing care for residents who require it. Our experienced and dedicated staff enable us to nurse those with physical disabilities, those who need end of life care, those with high dependency needs, and those who become infirm. We understand that it is vital to have trained knowledgeable staff delivering quality care, with residents preferences in mind.

DEMENTIA

We pride ourselves in our ability to care for those individuals living with dementia. Our specialised dementia unit on the first floor of our home offers beds for up to 32 residents, and our team are fully trained to understand all aspects of dementia and provide the highest levels of care and respect for every individual.

RESPITE

We know that sometimes everyone needs time out. Whether you care for a loved one or need a break yourself, you can truly relax knowing that a safe, welcoming environment and our experienced team are here for you.

Respite care is ideal for those looking for convalescence, either following a hospital stay or an illness. Many people also arrange a trial period to see if Ashlea Court is the right choice for them as their new home.

We are proud to ensure each of our residents have an enjoyable stay, whether it’s on a short or long-term basis.

PALLIATIVE

When you have limited time with your loved ones, it’s important to live as well as you can. At Ashlea Court we provide care with compassion, from diagnosis through to later stages of a serious, life-limiting illness . Our focus is on on removing stress, relieving pain and of course, your wishes as an individual.

SENSORY IMPAIRMENT

Our highly trained team are familiar with issues caused by a loss of sense or sensory impairment, which we understand can be frustrating, and require a considered approach to care planning, delivery and of course, communication.
